The iFarming application, a smartphone application, is used to monitor environmental parameters in farms such as temperature, humidity, illuminance…  and to control appliances in the farms such as pumps, fans, light…

The application has the following main functions:
  + Displaying function 
  + Controlling function

- Displaying function 
The function supports to display real-time values of environmental parameters. To display real-time data, the application subscribes to data topics that are published by the Main node through the communication protocol.

- Controlling function
The iFarming application allows users to change the operational mode of the system as well as switch ON/OFF appliances on farms. To perform the function, the application sends commands to the Main node through control topics. The Main node receives the commands and then switches ON/OFF the appliances in farms/greenhouses.
